Mongui Ojong Eyumeneh

Mongui Ojong Eyumeneh was born in Buea Cameroon a bilingual country (English and French speaking) with a dual education system. She studied law for her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Buea in Cameroon an Anglo-Saxon educational system and International Law for her Masters 1 at the University of Yaounde II Soa in Cameroon a French educational system. She has worked for the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) Yaounde Cameroon’s protection unit. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights from the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Mongui Ojong is a doctoral candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr Jan-Reinard Sieckmann to specialise on migrant protection. She is researching on the intersectionality and protection of migrant women and girls in detention, doing a comparative study of the African and the Inter-American Human Rights System.
