Marking International Human Rights Day on 10 December, our own programme alumni Max Deinlein guided our M.A. Human Rights students through the “Way of Human Rights”.
We looked at the different pillars and articles. Max Deinlein also encouraged our students to think about the message that the architect Dani Karavan wanted to convey with the particular design of the street and the need to walk around the pillars to read the articles in full.
We also talked about the different languages in which the articles on the columns were written, which led to a discussion about different cultures and customs.
Despite the cold, it was a really interesting and educational afternoon!
