On the 17th of October the new batch of students was welcomed to Erlangen. The highlight of the event was the speech of Dr Navi Pillay, former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and currently President of the Advisory Board of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy. In her speech she particularly focused on the experience she has acquired through her professional career, having served as, among others, a defense attorney for anti-apartheid activists, the first non-white female judge in South Africa, and a judge on both the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and the International Criminal Court.
During this event, some of our former students were awarded their certificates.
We are looking forward to working with the new students.
