The students of the MA Human Rights at FAU got together with students from the Master in Transitional Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of Law at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights on Monday, March 7th. In the afternoon, the group had a chance to learn more about and discuss the historical background as well as modern developments and challenges of international criminal law and human rights with Mr Klaus Rackwitz (Director of the International Nuremberg Principles Academy) as well as Prof. Markus Krajewski (FAU, Chair for Public Law and International Public Law) and Prof. Christoph Safferling (FAU, Chair for Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, International Criminal Law and Public International Law). After that, there was a well-received possibility of more informal mingling and networking over dinner. The groups will meet again at the beginning of April when the students from Erlangen will visit Geneva.
